There is an opportunity to create a destination at the  WY'R DDRAIG  site, at once

both local and international.  Landscape provides the medium for spatial clarity when

viewing the landmark and integrates the site into the local landscape pattern language

WY'R DDRAIG   'The Dragon's Egg'

Impressed by the beauty of the expansive, flat landscape of the Second Severn Crossing site, we have chosen a form

that would sympathetically harmonise with the natural character of the estuary, but would also be an icon for a nation.

Our proposal is a Dragon's Egg as the seed of the imagination, containing all that has gone before and all that will

follow, a mythical symbol to celebrate the rebirth and re-emergence of an ancient country.
